Josh H. Kardisch, Esq., is KLA’s senior partner. He has been representing plaintiffs and defendants in employment, toxic tort, products liability, environmental, complex insurance, personal injury (with an emphasis on animal attacks), and commercial matters before State and Federal courts and administrative agencies nationwide for over 20 years. Mr. Kardisch advises corporate and individual clients on compliance with workplace laws and the interpretation and implementation of environmental regulations and remediation plans. He also negotiates and prepares many types of business-related documents, such as employment handbooks, policies and procedures, severance packages, non-compete clauses/restrictive covenants, partnership dissolution agreements and book publishing deals.
Mr. Kardisch graduated from the Boston University School of Law in 1984, and as a student, he focused on oral advocacy, toxic torts and product liability law. Between 1985 and 1996, he was an associate and a partner at Rivkin Radler & Kremer, a highly reputable national firm, where he handled pesticide exposure, environmental, product liability, insurance, commercial and labor law litigation, at the trial and appellate levels, for small through Fortune 500 companies. He also coordinated activity of local counsel throughout the United States, and he participated in the firm’s administration as a member of the Hiring Committee. Mr. Kardisch founded and was a named partner in a general practice firm between 1996 and 2002. He has lectured and published extensively in his areas of concentration, and is a member of the Speaker’s Bureau of the Nassau County Bar Association and an Associate Editor of the Nassau Lawyer. Mr. Kardisch is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Bonnie Link, Esq., is the firm’s managing partner. Ms. Link supervises all general negligence, real property and estate matters, areas in which she has been practicing for 28 years. She was Of Counsel to Josh Kardisch's prior firm between 1996 and 2002, and she maintained her own litigation and transactional practice between 1994 and 2002, concentrating on personal injury matters and trials (both for plaintiffs and defendants), real estate, and wills and estates. Ms. Link was a senior trial attorney with The Law Office of Jerrold Cohen, Esq. (House Counsel to Interboro Insurance) from 1990 to 1994, handling all phases of personal and commercial lines, jury and non-jury trials, mediations, examinations under oath, and arbitrations through the American Arbitration Association and private panels, and she participated in training programs for risk and claims managers on insurance coverage and fraud issues. Ms. Link was a trial attorney at Rivkin, Radler & Kremer from 1981 to 1989. She has authored several articles on insurance issues, has been a Faculty Member on the Hofstra University School of Law Trial Techniques Program since 2002, and has served as a common law and Federal Court arbitrator.
Bonnie Link graduated from St. John's University School of Law in 1980, and while in law school, she interned at the Nassau County Attorney's Office, Appeals Division and Corporation Counsel, Queens Family Court. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Beth L. Rogoff, Esq., is a senior associate in the firm. She handles toxic tort, environmental and general negligence/personal injury cases. Ms. Rogoff joined the Insurance Defense & Appellate Practice Group of Helfer Helfer & Kardisch LLP in 1998, and has been a senior associate at KLA since 2002. Between 1997 and 1998, Ms. Rogoff was an associate in the Insurance Defense Group at Scibilia, Polacco and Aledort. Ms. Rogoff graduated from the Hofstra University School of Law, where she concentrated on environmental law, in 1995, and is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey.
Matthew M. Frank, Esq. joined the firm as an associate in 2007. Mr. Frank handles labor and employment, commercial, and general negligence matters. He was an associate at Purcell & Ingrao, P.C., between 2003 and 2007 and a Law Clerk at that firm between 2001 and 2003. Mr. Frank graduated from the Hofstra University School of Law in 2002, and is admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (Registration No. 55,189), and in the States of New York and Connecticut.
